I am passionate about giving young adults opportunities to evangelize and leading them into holiness. My two Master's degrees in Communications and Theology led me first to college campus ministry work at both Catholic and public universities. During these years, I authored several spiritual books for young adults. In 2003, we moved to Wisconsin and I began directing Mount Tabor Center. I founded SPIRITUS in 2009 with the hopes of forming young adults to become leaders for the Church and helping them share their love of Jesus with the youth. What a joy it is to form younger generations to embrace a life with Christ!

What a blessing it is to work for the Lord! My experience as a professional youth minister and mother of six prepared me well to work with the SPIRITUS missionaries. I earned a Master's degree in Theology from the Augustine Institute and am excited to share this knowledge and my love of our faith with others. I love meeting supporters of the mission and hearing about why they believe in SPIRITUS!

Formation Coordinator
Jenn Wood
I joined the SPIRITUS Staff in 2015 after serving as Catholic School Principal, DRE and Youth Minister in parishes in Minnesota, Wyoming and Wisconsin. I am deeply committed to forming our team into strong missionary disciples. I coordinate Thursday formation, assist with training, mentor, manage the missionary schedule and assign them to retreats. I love knitting, audio books, teaching faith formation and walking my dogs, Ivan & Precious. My husband Lincoln and I live in Appleton and have four children.

Development, Account & Grants
Kate Hendrick
After spending my first few years out of college working as a process engineer, I felt a nudge from God to find a new job. I am so grateful He led me to the Mount Tabor Center where I can combine my faith, gifts, and interests to support this amazing mission! My husband and I are blessed with a sweet baby girl. Though I spend most of my time singing silly songs, playing peek-a-book, and reading picture books, I also enjoy playing board games and doing crafts like embroidery and crochet.

Development, Database Coordinator
Jamie Albert
I joined SPIRITUS in September of 2020. Some may know my face from a popular kitchen store where I worked for 13 years. I enjoy working with others and meeting new people. My husband and I are Catholic converts, and came into the Church as we prepared for our wedding seven years ago. We celebrate our reunion with God in our marriage, and feel blessed to be surrounded by a welcoming Catholic community. As a mother of two, I treasure the SPIRITUS missionaries who bring light to our youth, and I feel extraordinarily blessed to work in their midst, especially during these trying times.

Recruiter, Event Planner
Sarah Rudd
I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh with a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work and a minor in Religious Studies. From a young age I've had a desire to make others feel seen, known and loved. For the past several years, that has looked like one-on-one discipleship, leading bible studies, and having in depth talks about the beauty of the catholic faith and the authenticity that comes from living it out freely and fully. As SPIRITUS' recruiter and events coordinator I hope to continue making others feel seen, known and loved through prayer, joy, community and of course a little bit of dancing here and there!

Retreat Coordinator
Catherine Wallace
I felt called to SPIRITUS in 2014 after taking a 20-year hiatus from the outside working world to raise our six children. My previous work experience was with Marquette University and a company that helped children with learning difficulties. I am an active volunteer in the Catholic school system, church and community. It is such a privilege to take part in bringing God’s message to our youth!

Administrative Assistant
Annette Hovie
I was led to Mount Tabor in 2013 after choosing to leave a 30 year career in healthcare. I put my faith in God and knew He would lead me where I could serve Him best. My husband and I enjoy family time with our two grown daughters and six grandchildren. We love to travel and always end up taking back roads to our destination. I feel both humbled and privileged to assist the SPIRITUS missionaries, who are filled with the Holy Spirit, evangelizing to the youth.

In 2018, after 15 years as stay-at-home mom of our 3 children, I am using my education and accounting assistant experience as bookkeeper for Mount Tabor Center / SPIRITUS. I truly feel blessed to be part of such a Catholic faith filled organization that inspires future generations while caring so well spiritually for staff and missionaries.

I was a missionary on teams 11 &12 and now I am back serving on staff. I am so excited to serve in the ministry that has taught me so much. I love to cook, play piano and guitar, and I absolutely love dogs. Praise and worship is my favorite form of prayer, but I love spending quiet time with Jesus. Even though I am from Texas I really love the Wisconsin weather.

Witness Trainer
Jack Lawlis
Hello! I was a Missionary on SPIRITUS Team 12, and currently work as a Witness Trainer for our "Be My Witnesses" program. I studied Political Science at UW-La Crosse, and it was during my summers working at Camp Tekakwitha in Shawano, WI that I encountered Jesus in a profound way. After college, I went on to work for Minnesota's Catholic Bishops in legislative affairs, and also led retreats at Camp Tekakwitha. I recently began graduate studies at the Augustine Institute, and hope to grow closer to the Lord with you. God bless you.

Graphic Designer
Julie Moser
I joined SPIRITUS in the summer of 2017 when I felt the call to use my talents to serve the Lord. My background consists of many years of graphic design, primarily as a freelancer, while also working with a family business that services the dairy industry. I am an active member at St. Pius Parish and a proud parent of two Xavier Catholic School students. It is a great honor to be part of a mission that keeps the Holy Spirit alive in our youth!

Hospitality, Housekeeper
Anne Shelley
I am very blessed to be able to help feed people coming to Mount Tabor Center. It is very rare to be able to pray with people at work, I get to do this every day. A few years ago I started as a housekeeper at Mount Tabor Center. Now I serve as Hospitality Coordinator, planning meals and recruiting volunteers to help with meals. The staff at Mt Tabor are wonderful examples of faith in action. One of my greatest joys is to cook delicious food and serve it to others. Come join in the fun.
