I taught college Communication courses and worked in college campus ministry at both Catholic and public universities. In 2003, I began directing Mount Tabor Center and founded SPIRITUS in 2009. I am passionate about giving young adults opportunities to evangelize and leading them into holiness. I have written several spiritual books for young adults. I live in Menasha with Katherine and our six kids.

After spending my first few years out of college working as a process engineer, I felt a nudge from God to find a job where I could serve Him more directly. I am thrilled that He brought me here to the Mount Tabor Center. When I'm not ballroom dancing or playing board games with my husband, I enjoy reading, writing and crafting.

Annette Hovie

I was lead to Mount Tabor in 2013 after choosing to leave a 30 year career in healthcare. I put my faith in God and knew He would lead me where I could serve Him best. I feel both humbled and privileged to assist the SPIRITUS missionaries, who are filled with the Holy Spirit, evangelizing to the youth. God is amazing!

Julie Moser

I joined SPIRITUS in the summer of 2017 when I felt the call to use my talents to serve the Lord. My background consists of many years of graphic design, primarily as a freelancer, while also working with a family business that services the dairy industry. I am an active member at St. Pius Parish and a proud parent of two Xavier Catholic School students. It is a great honor to be part of a mission that keeps the Holy Spirit alive in our youth!

Katherine Foord

Before joining this staff, I worked as a professional youth minister for 8 years.  Now, I am blessed to train and mentor our SPIRITUS missionaries who are so inspiring to all of us!  One of my favorite responsibilities is coordinating the Youth Ministry Internships for SPIRITUS.  When not working, you will find me spending time with family and studying.  I am pursuing a Master's degree in Theology through Augustine Institute.

Rachel Van Handel

The Mount Tabor Center has become like a second home to me over the years. I was lucky enough to spend three years on the SPIRITUS team before leaving to earn my Masters in Theology from the Augustine Institute. I am excited to be back in a staff role and continuing to help equip young people with the skills they need to be witnesses of Christ to everyone they meet. In my spare time, I love all things trivia, jigsaw puzzles, and a good book.

Jackie Weninger

In 2018, after 15 years as stay-at-home mom of our 3 children, I am using my education and accounting assistant experience as bookkeeper for Mt. Tabor Center / SPIRITUS. I truly feel blessed to be part of such a Catholic faith filled organization that inspires future generations while caring so well spiritually for staff and missionaries.

Anne Shelley

God has given me a servant's heart and many gifts that I love to share with others including gardening, baking, and crafting.  And now I can add cleaning to the mix.  If you hear humming in the hallways, it will probably be me. In my past work I've served as high school librarian, assistant religious ed coordinator for high school, and CNA.  God has blessed me with 10 siblings and numerous nieces and nephews.  Looking forward to making Mt. Tabor clean and comfortable for you.

Jenn Wood

I joined the SPIRITUS Staff in 2015 after serving as Catholic School Principal, DRE and Youth Minister in parishes in Minnesota, Wyoming and Wisconsin. I am deeply committed to forming our team into strong missionary disciples. I coordinate Thursday formation, assist with training, mentor, manage the schedule and assign team to retreats. I live in Appleton with my husband, Lincoln, four children and a dog.

Catherine Wallace

I felt called to SPIRITUS after taking a 20-year hiatus from the outside working world to raise our six children. My previous work experience was with Marquette University and a company that helped children with learning difficulties. I am an active volunteer in the Catholic school system, church and community. It is such a privilege to take part in bringing God’s message to our youth!

Janette Vanevenhoven

In 2007 I retired from teaching. I have always been a "caretaker" with both my family and career. Working at Mount Tabor offers me the opportunity to connect and to serve with staff, volunteers, and guests.

Rebecca Lehner

I first joined SPIRITUS as summer help in 2018. Now, I am so thrilled to be an official member of the SPIRITUS staff because I enjoy serving God in this faith-filled environment. I have 7 siblings and am a proud aunt of one niece, and two nephews. I feel honored and blessed to be able to aid in the SPIRITUS mission through cleaning Mt. Tabor Center.
