2025 Volunteer of the Year

Joanie Howe

In 2008, Joanie Howe walked into Mount Tabor Center for the first time. From that point forward, she has become a valued member of the SPIRITUS community.

Joanie has given countless hours to SPIRITUS Ministries through volunteering for mailings, praying for the missionaries, leading the rosary at Masses before our Janssen Forum speaker series and supporting the missionaries on social media. She has also brought many friends to SPIRITUS by sharing her passion for the missionaries with others. “The joy of the Lord that pours out of them is catching.”

In May, Joanie was the recipient of the SPIRITUS Volunteer of the Year award. “SPIRITUS has become so much of my life. Praying for them daily puts a good feeling in my heart.”
